What is BarCamp Shanghai?

BarCamp Shanghai is a volunteer-organized, peer taught, multi-track conference focused on the Drupal open source content management system. The event will bring experts and rookies alike from all facets of web communications including developers, information architects, designers and themers, as well as entrepreneurs, marketers, non-profit groups, and other users of Drupal.

What we need?

Approx. 30,000 RMB (~$5,000) Based on 100-150 attendees (attendee could be expanded ~ money and space permitting)

Where does the money go?

Sponsorships will go towards paying for the facilities, equipment, supplies, and other costs of BarCamp and drupalcamp Shanghai . This is a non-profit event run by volunteers. All money raised goes directly into supporting the event. In the event that there would be a positive revenue for the event, any profit will be donated to the drupal community. Either local user group events or the Drupal Association.

Barcamp and Drupalcamp Shanghai Details

On Saturday and Sunday, May 17th and 18th:

Day 1 May 17th Barcamp Shanghai begins from 12:00PM to 18:00PM, followed by a Community Party at Abbey Road at 19:30. Day 2 May 18th Drupal Camp Shanghai begins from 10:00AM to 18:00PM.

Where: Saturday and Sunday sessions will be held on the 3rd floor of the River South Shanghai Creative Center. Located at 1247 Nan Suzhou Road.

Who: You and about 149 other people (first come, first served - stay tuned for registration next week)

How Much: 50 RMB per person (Includes cost share on venue, a t-shirt)
